Stärke was founded in 2017 by father & son automotive design team, Wade Morrison & Maxwell Morrison. They have a lifelong passion for sports cars and both agree that the 356 Speedster is among the most beautiful automobile designs ever created. As they sought out a Speedster for their own use they were taken back at just how small the original 356 was by todays standards. They thought their had to be an alternative to build a Speedster that would look vintage on the exterior but offer modern performance, creature comforts, etc. They took one test drive in a Boxster and were floored at how fun it was to drive. That was the spark for the idea and the rest is history.
“Stärke" (pronounced like "park") means "Strength & Power" in German, which best symbolizes their dedication to German tradition. Their mission is to create vintage inspired German body styles & merge them with thrilling, modern day German performance. To do so, they’ve assembled one of the finest teams of artisans, designers, craftsman and body fabrication experts in the industry. In fact, many of their team members have over twenty-five years’ experience.
