Description Title
One of the biggest differences between a Starke Speedster and a 356 replica car is performance. As any replica or original car owner will tell you, they were not speed demons. Many replica cars replace the original motors with Subaru drivetrains to gain more horsepower.
Since our Starke Speedster uses the OE 718 drivetrain, performance is what you would expect of a late-model car. The base 718 creates 300 HP. And if you want more, the GTS makes 394 HP—quite an improvement over the less than 100 HP from the original cars. Our cars are available with a 6-speed manual transmission or the Porsche PDK 7-speed automatic with paddle shifters.
Not only are they fast, they are made to handle. All cars utilize electromechanical power steering and stability management which makes the car easy to steer while keeping it glued to the pavement during quick cornering.

No safety is compromised in creating our Starke Speedsters. The front and rear crash barriers remain intact underneath the body panels. Side impact barriers and all air bags remain intact. If your car has lane change assist or adaptive cruise, it all still works.
